Photography is much more than a hobby or a profession to me; it is part of who I am. My passion began in nature, where I learned to truly observe—the first light of sunrise, the power of the sea, and the small details that others often overlook.
With a camera in my hands and walking shoes on my feet, I feel completely at home. Sometimes I photograph with my Nikon, sometimes simply with my phone. It's not the camera that creates the image, but the eye for the right moment.
Beyond nature, I discovered how rewarding it is to photograph people. A family enjoying time together, a couple in love, or a portrait that captures someone exactly as they are—these genuine moments are what make photography so meaningful to me.
Travel adds another dimension to my work. Every destination has its own atmosphere, light, and story. Through my photographs, I capture those stories and share the beauty I discover along the way.
I also enjoy giving back to the community through photography. As a volunteer, I have photographed projects such as Curaçao World Cleanup Day, the Arco Cavent Memorial Day, and training programs for Favela Street.
These experiences remind me that photography is not just about creating beautiful images, but about people, connection, and preserving stories that deserve to be remembered.
My work has been exhibited several times, and many of my photographs of Curaçao now hang in homes of collectors and photography lovers, both on the island and abroad. My goal has always been the same: to create images that are not only beautiful, but also tell a story and evoke emotion.
