GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS – Photography

1. Applicability
These terms apply to all photography services provided by Curaçao Nature Photography. By booking a session, the client agrees to these terms.

2. Booking & Payment

• A booking is confirmed once the date, time and location are agreed upon and payment has been received.

• Lifestyle & Portrait shoots: full payment is due 7 days before the shoot via bank transfer.

• Funeral photography: full payment is due in advance via bank transfer.

• Photography Tours: full payment is due in advance via bank transfer.

• We do not have a card payment machine.

3. Cancellation & Rescheduling

By the client:

• Cancellations up to 48 hours before the session are free of charge.

• Cancellations within 48 hours or no-shows will result in full payment being due. No refund will be given.

• Rescheduling is possible up to 48 hours before the session, subject to availability.

By the photographer:

• If the photographer must cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, the client will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule at no additional cost.

 

4. Start Time & Attendance

• Sessions start at the agreed time. Late arrival may result in a shorter session. The end time does not automatically shift.

• For group shoots, we start on time even if not all participants are present — to make the most of the available natural light.

 

5. Photo Delivery & Usage Rights

• Edited photos are delivered within 7 days via WeTransfer. Funeral photography within 48 hours.

• The client receives personal usage rights for all delivered images. Commercial use requires prior written consent.

• The photographer retains full copyright to all images and reserves the right to use them for portfolio, website and social media purposes, unless the client has indicated otherwise prior to the session.

• Funeral photography images are treated with strict confidentiality and will never be shared or published without explicit written consent from the family.

 

6. Liability & Force Majeure

• The photographer is not liable for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings during a session.

• The photographer is not liable for external factors affecting the session, including weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances.

• In case of technical failure or force majeure preventing photo delivery, the client is entitled to a full refund.

 

7. Behavior

• Respectful behavior is expected at all times. The photographer reserves the right to end a session early in the event of inappropriate behavior. No refund will be given in that case.

 

8. Weather & Changes

• Sessions depend on weather and lighting conditions. If conditions are unsuitable, the session will be rescheduled or cancelled in mutual agreement.

• The photographer reserves the right to adjust the location, route or schedule for safety or operational reasons.

 

9. Agreement & Acceptance
By booking a session with Curaçao Nature Photography, the client confirms they have read, understood and agreed to these terms and conditions.
